Overview

Eye Care and Pomodoro Timer is designed to help users take regular screen breaks, complete guided eye-care exercises, and use Pomodoro timers. The product is built with a local-first approach and does not require an account.

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, sell, rent, or share the following information:

• Camera video or camera frames
• Face images or biometric identity information
• Names, email addresses, or account credentials
• Browsing history outside of the extension page
• Payment information

Camera Use

Camera access is used only when you choose to start a guided eye-tracking exercise. Eye and face landmark processing runs locally in your browser to provide movement feedback during the session.

Camera frames are not uploaded to our servers. The extension does not use the camera in the background, and you can stop the camera session at any time.

Notifications

The Chrome extension requests notification permission only to provide optional eye-care break reminders and Pomodoro timer alerts. Notifications are sent only after you enable reminders or start timer-related alerts.

You can disable notifications at any time in Chrome settings or by turning off reminders in the extension.

Local Storage

The product may store simple preferences in your browser, such as whether reminders are enabled and which reminder interval you selected. This information stays on your device and is used only to keep the app working as expected.

Third-Party Services

The website version may use standard web services such as analytics or advertising scripts. These services may process information according to their own privacy policies.

The Chrome extension new tab page is packaged to run locally and does not require those website advertising or analytics scripts for its core functionality.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We do not share camera data, eye-tracking data, or reminder preferences with third parties.

Children's Privacy

Eye Care and Pomodoro Timer is a general productivity and wellness tool. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
